The Trout Trust speaks in a unified voice directly with government, representing the interests of wild trout and those who care about them.
Reid's Fly Shop is a supporter of The Trout Trust, a non-profit organization in Alberta dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the trout and trout habitat in Alberta. While there are several worthwhile conservation organizations in Alberta, The Trout Trust differentiates itself by actively lobbying the Government of Alberta and the federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans to ensure our trout and trout habitat are protected and preserved. It is an organization that unites the fishing community in demanding transparency from these two levels of government while tackling issues such as entrainment and raising public awareness about issues of interest to all who fish our provincial waters.
